MEET DAVID:

Hi. I want to share with you why I am a photographer.

More than any other factor, I believe in creating portraits and candid wedding photography, that are identified by the connections these pictures communicate about that person or moment. I believe in paying special attention to expression and details to create artistically beautiful photographs.

I seek out photographic moments that will capture the essence of a person. Moments that, when revisited, immediately return my clients to that feeling and time. I believe in observing and understanding nuances in expression, then capturing those moments in photography that is both beautiful and creative. Why do I work this way? Because I believe its the best way to photograph my clients.

My mission is to create great photographs in order to craft a story that "speaks". Sometimes these stories can be told in a single image. Other times it takes hundreds. But no matter how the story takes shape, I believe in that connection with my clients. A connection made through these stories.

Growing up in a family that cherishes artistic expression, I did not think photography, and in particular wedding photography, would be my chosen path. However, I always believed I would find a way to create beauty through art. I discovered photography to be a sort of magical way to express my creativity. 

When I learned how to photograph people, I soon began getting requests to shoot portraits of family, then weddings and more.

I choose wedding photography for my main endeavor, but love to photograph people in all settings.

Another connection I have made over the past several years has been with Architectural photography. I love its challenges and it supports my eye for seeking out great backgrounds for portraits.

I had the good fortune to marry a woman who loves me, and causes me to hope for the best in people. It is this marriage that has given me a clearer understanding of what it is like to have a great cause, and of how to work in support of that cause.

When I am not immersed in photography, I wish I were! Its that simple. I am passionate about what I do and love every moment of it.
